My mother who is 72 years old was diagnosed with Stage 4A of Nasal Pharynx Carcinoma (commonly called Nose Cancer) 5 months ago. I discovered I had Stage 3 Nasal Cancer just one week after my 71st birthday celebrations. The doctor prescribed 35 rounds of radiotherapy. After hearing about my condition, my friend’s son recommended Lifestream supplements to us. Madam Ng passed her regular pap-smear and breast examination last September 2005. However, she felt sick and noticed a much heavier blood loss during her menstruation in March 2006. After consultation with a polyclinic doctor, she was immediately referred to KK Hospital. The doctors did a CT scan and suspected she was suffering from stage 1 cervical cancer. Biopsy and tests done in June 2006 revealed that she had stage 3 cervical cancer (子宫内膜癌) instead.
 
As cancer cells were also found in her lymph nodes, she had to undergo 6 sessions of chemotherapy, and a further 18 days of intravenous drip at home. Thereafter, another 25 sessions of daily radiotherapy were prescribed.
 
Mdm Ng was recommended Lifestream Cordyceps Stroma during this period by a fellow patient in the hospital. She started consuming 4 Cordyceps Stroma capsules daily from June 2006 to ease her convalescence.
 
In early July 2006, she began to consume an additional 6 capsules of BRM360º daily to strengthen and prepare her body for the trying series of chemotherapy and radiotherapy that were to follow. She commenced her first chemo session on 19 July 2006. Given a New Lease of Life with BRM360

Kim is a full time homemaker and a mother of two. Miraculously, Kim has managed to win the battle against cancer, not once, but twice between 2006 and 2007.

In March 2006, Kim suffered a great loss when her mother passed away due to heart congestion problem. Kim had high blood pressure all along and started to experience regular bouts of breathlessness during that time and she worry that she might have the same problem as her mother.

In May 2006, when Kim was admitted to ER for a sudden bout of breathlessness, doctor discovered she had unusually low haemoglobin count and she was also having abnormally heavy menses. Kim was referred to KK Hospital for a thorough examination and her world was turned upside-down, when her medical report showed that she had 1st stage endometriosis cancer. Kim had a hysterectomy and her ovaries and one lymph node found near the womb surgically removed.

In April 2007, Kim went to see the doctor for a persistent cough and doctor discovered a lump on the right hand side of her neck. The 3mm growth was surgically removed and a biopsy confirmed that the cancer has spread through the lymphatic system to 4th stage. Kim and family were given the devastating news that she had only 6 months to a maximum of 2 years life span remaining. She was prescribed 6 cycles of chemotherapy. However, after the first dose of chemotherapy Kim was overcome by the side effects. She could not open her eyes, felt weak and nauseous, lost her appetite and her hair started to fall off in patches. Immediately the next day, she sought a second opinion with a different doctor from Mount Elizabeth who conducted a blood test for her and advised her to stop her chemotherapy as no cancer biomarkers were found after the surgery. Subsequently, Kim asked to be transferred from KK Hospital to National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and has been going there on a regular basis for screenings and health check up.

Since her first encounter with cancer, her daughter has been buying a myriad of health supplements for her.  (i)    Lingzhi

• Extracts of Lingzhi has been shown in Korean studies to help prevent skin cancer by reducing the DNA damge of UV exposure.
• Lingzhi helps to prevent severe reduction of white blood cells during radiotherapy as shown in studies conducted by scientist at Hebei Academy of Medical Sciences in China. Extremely low levels of white blood cells in cancer patients increases their susceptibility to infections and diseases, giving rise to further complication during treatments or on their route to recovery.
• A Taiwanese study showed that Lingzhi extract can stimulate an increase in production of macrophages, monocytes, T lymphocytes to inhibit angiogenesis (development and growth of blood vessels to feel cancerous cells) in certain cancers like liver and prostate cancers.

• Krestin (Marketed in May 1977) – accounts for about 25% of total expenditure of anti cancer agents in Japan (Shows wide usage)[i]
• PSP and PSK are anti-cancer drugs derived from Yunzhi. They are capable of restoring body’s immune system after damage done during conventional cancer treatment.
• PSK has undergone clinical trials in various countries against various cancers like stomach, breast, esophageal and epdidermoid carcinoma and showed encouraging results in increasing percentage of survival of the cancer patients as compare to the control group given placebo.

Grifron®-Pro D-Fraction® has received IND (Investigational New Drug Application) approval from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to conduct a Phase II study on its effect for advanced breast and prostate cancer patients in 1998. • Shiitake contains lentinan and LEM which increase the activity of the protective antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) that may prevent diseases caused by oxidative stress

• Undergone intensive clinical trials with university researchers and hospitals since the report of anti-cancer properties of ABM was release at the general convention of the Japan Cancer Association in 1980
• Results from studies conducted on cancerous mice in Kobe Pharmaceutical University in Japan showed significant increase in lymphocytes T cells and other immune cells
