In the study, researchers showed a group of participants both healthy and unhealthy food options followed by a period of acute exercise. Unhealthy food options included things like pizzas, burgers and doughnuts, while healthier ones consisted of grapes, strawberries and carrots. People may find junk food such as burgers, potato chips unappealing as they have less water content while frsh crunchy fruits and vegetables may be seen as delicious and first chioce to be consumed to satisfy their exercise-induced thirst.
