The earlier Breast Cancer is diagnosed, the better the prognosis. All females should start conducting breast self-exam from the age of 20. To do a breast self-exam, lie on your back and put your right hand behind your head. Use three fingers from left hand to feel for lumps at right breast. Move your fingers around your breast in a circular movement from the outer edge to nipple area. Repeat the same steps for left breast. Do this self-exam at the same time every month either a few days after the start of your period or on first day of starting on a new pack of oral contraceptive pills.
