Keeping your toothbrush clean is vital for your oral health. Always rinse your toothbrush with water after using it. Store your toothbrush in an upright position and allow it to air-dry until the next use. Do not routinely cover toothbrushes or store them in closed containers, as it  encourages the growth of bacteria. It is also important to replace your toothbrush approximately every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed.  You may also opt for toothbrushes with anti-bacterial bristles to prevent bacteria growth on the brushhead.
