Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about CardioREGAIN EX

  • Ubiquinol is the advanced, reduced form of CoQ10 that is pre-converted and ready for immediate use by the body for cellular energy production.

Unlike conventional CoQ10 (Ubiquinone), which must be converted by the body first, Ubiquinol is more bioavailable and efficacious. This is especially important for individuals aged 30 and above, as the body's natural conversion process becomes less efficient with age.

  • Ubiquinol CoQ10 is vital for producing cellular energy (ATP) and protecting major organs like the heart and brain from oxidative stress.

Since CoQ10 levels decline due to aging, stress, and medications like statins, supplementation helps replenish these levels to ensure vital organs function optimally.

  • Low levels of CoQ10 can lead to physical and mental fatigue, memory lapses, and a weakened immune system.

Deficiency is often characterized by feeling exhausted after minor physical activity, frequent headaches, migraines, or muscle cramps.

  • While found in some oily fish and meats, it is extremely difficult to obtain therapeutic doses—like the 150mg in CardioREGAIN EX—from diet alone.

To get an equivalent dose, one would need to consume 15kg of broccoli or 2.4kg of sardines daily. Furthermore, cooking naturally occurring Ubiquinol often converts it back into a less absorbable form.

  • You can expect increased energy levels and potentially improved heart and respiratory rates within as early as one week.

The addition of Hydroxytyrosol from Olive Fruit Extract also supports healthy blood flow, which may alleviate symptoms like cold hands and feet.

  • No, CardioREGAIN EX boosts cellular energy naturally and does not cause the "spike" or "crash" associated with caffeine.

However, because it supports organ function and alertness, it is best to take it in the morning if you have trouble sleeping.

  • CardioREGAIN EX has no known side effects, except for individuals with a shellfish allergy.

Always consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or specifically on warfarin.

  • No, CardioREGAIN EX is not suitable for vegetarians.

  • Yes, CardioREGAIN EX is safe and recommended to replenish CoQ10 levels suppressed by statin medications.

Ubiquinol is the preferred form for those on statins; just ensure a 2-hour gap between the supplement and your medicine.

  • It is highly recommended for middle-aged and elderly adults, individuals with poor cardiovascular health, and those on statins.

It also benefits those with high-stress lifestyles, low physical performance, or decreased fertility.

  • For general health, take 1 softgel daily; for specific concerns like heart health or fertility, take 2 softgels daily.

Medical advice should be sought if you have pre-existing medical conditions before starting consumption.

  • Yes, CardioREGAIN EX is safe for long-term use to support cardiovascular health as we age.

  • CardioREGAIN EX is suitable for adults aged 18 and above.

Remember not to take it without medical advice if you are on warfarin.

  • No, CardioREGAIN EX is a dietary supplement and not a medicine, so no prescription is required.

  • Yes, it can be safely taken with other supplements as the natural ingredients are unlikely to interact negatively with other nutrients.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their physician before use, as the product has not been specifically studied for these groups.

I have been experiencing fast heartbeat since I turned 50. Sometimes, the sensation of “flopping” in the chest was very intense and I had difficulty breathing. After taking CardioREGAIN, I noticed my heart rate decreased to normal levels just within an hour of intake. This is unbelievable! I checked my heart rate several times after taking CardioREGAIN and found that the effects were consistent. Now, I rarely experience shortness of breath and I can walk up two or three flight of stairs without panting. I am proud to say that “I have a younger heart now!”.

“On both days, I took CardioREGAIN at around 11am. My heart rate decreased from 80+ to 72bpm within an hour. For my age, 72 bpm is considered a normal heart rate. Thumbs up!”

Support healthy heart
Study 1: In this clinical trial, patients ( 50 years) with heart health concern with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) were orally administered ubiquinol and d-ribose for a period of 12 weeks. Treatment with ubiquinol and/or d-ribose significantly improved the KCCQ (Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire) clinical summary score, vigor score and ejection fraction. These findings suggest the efficacy of ubiquinol and d-ribose in supporting heart health and increased the ejection fraction.

Study 2: In this clinical trial, patients with heart health concern were orally administered with CoQ10 for 12 weeks. CoQ10 supplementation resulted in an increased in plasma CoQ10 level, improved left and right ventricular heart function, increased hemoglobin and decreased red cell distribution width (RDW). RDW reflects red blood cells of different sizes. These findings suggest the beneficial effects of CoQ10 supplementation in those with heart health concern.

Support healthy blood vessels

Study 1: In this clinical trial, healthy subjects with lipid profile concern, and no clinical signs of cardiovascular disease were orally administered ubiquinol (200 or 100 mg/day) or placebo for 8 weeks. Compared to placebo group, treatment with both 100 mg/day and 200 mg/day ubiquinol resulted in significant increase in flow mediated dilation (FMD) and plasma total CoQ10 and reduced CoQ10 levels. In addition, LDL oxidation lag time significantly improved in the group treated with 200 mg/day ubiquinol. These findings suggest the efficacy of ubiquinol in may help support the management of cholesterol-related issues affecting blood vessel function.

Study 2: In this study, 5 patients with blood sugar concern were orally administered 25 mg of hydroxytyrosol the first day and 12.5 mg per day for the following 3 days together with a breakfast. Results showed that there was a 46% decrease in the blood thromboxane (TXB) production after blood clotting. TXB is a very potent inducer of vasoconstriction (constriction of blood vessels) and platelet aggregation. These findings suggest that hydroxytyrosol may support healthy platelet function, which could potentially help in maintaining normal blood flow. (Eur J Clin Nutr. 59(5): 727-730 (2005)).

Study 3: In this clinical trial, middle-aged and seemingly healthy adults were orally administered with 9.9 mg of hydroxytyrosol (HT) and 195 mg of punicalagin (PC) for 8 weeks. Compared to a placebo (maltodextrin), the administration of HT and PC showed improvements in endothelial function in those with existing endothelial dysfunction. Additionally, HT and PC were associated with improvements in oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) levels in participants with elevated oxLDL, compared to placebo. For participants with prehypertension and hypertension, HT and PC administration was linked to reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The systolic blood pressure of prehypertensive and hypertensive participants showed notable differences compared to placebo. These findings suggest that HT and PC may help support heart health by potentially improving endothelial function, blood pressure, and oxLDL levels.

Mitigates side effects of cholesterol-lowering therapy

The administration of cholesterol-lowering therapy is commonly associated with myopathy, with symptoms include muscle weakness, stiffness and cramps. This side effect is hypothesised to be the result from cholesterol-lowering therapy -induced reduction of CoQ10.

In this clinical trial, patients (average aged 60.6 years) treated with different types and doses of statin were orally administered CoQ10 for 6 months. The muscle weakness and pain were determined at baseline 6 months after administration. The plasma CoQ10 levels significantly increased by more than 194%, while the muscle pain and muscle weakness were significantly decreased by 53.8% and 44.4%, respectively. These findings suggest the supplementation of CoQ10 alongside statins helps increase plasma CoQ10 levels and mitigate cholesterol-lowering therapy-induced myopathy (Neuro Endocrinol Lett. 33 Suppl 2: 98-101 (2012)).

Improve metabolic health

In this study, mice were administered hydroxytyrosol for 17 weeks, and the results suggest that hydroxytyrosol may help reduce the effects of a high-fat diet (HFD. In liver and muscle tissues, hydroxytyrosol appeared to reduce HFD-induced lipid deposits and support antioxidant enzyme activities to counter oxidative stress. Hydroxytyrosol supplementation was also associated with lower levels of mitochondrial carbonyl protein (a marker of mitochondrial dysfunction) and improved mitochondrial complex activities in muscle tissue. Additionally, hydroxytyrosol was linked to supporting healthy glucose and blood lipid levels. These findings suggest that hydroxytyrosol may have a role in supporting metabolic health and mitigating mitochondrial abnormalities. (Free Radic Biol Med. 67: 396-407 (2014)).

Support brain health

Increased oxidative stress from reactive oxygen species and nitrosative stress from reactive nitrogen species can impact the integrity and function of brain tissue, affecting brain cell survival. This study investigated the potential of a hydroxytyrosol-rich extract to reduce Fe²+- and nitric oxide (NO)-induced cytotoxicity in brain cells. Without hydroxytyrosol, the addition of either Fe²+ or SNP (an NO donor) led to significant loss of cellular ATP and a notable depolarization of mitochondrial membrane potential. However, preincubation with hydroxytyrosol appeared to lessen the cytotoxic effects of both stressors. Additionally, mice were given hydroxytyrosol to evaluate its effects on brain health. Administration of 100 mg of hydroxytyrosol per kilogram body weight for 12 days was associated with increased resistance of brain cells to oxidative stress, as indicated by reduced lipid peroxidation. Hydroxytyrosol also seemed to provide cellular protection, as shown by a moderately hyperpolarized basal mitochondrial membrane potential. These findings suggest that hydroxytyrosol may have neuroprotective properties that could be beneficial for brain health. (J Agric Food Chem. 55(13): 5043-5049 (2007)).

Mitigate stress and sleep disorders

In this clinical trial, healthy subjects with high stress sensitivity were orally administered 100 mg ubiquinol or placebo daily for 8 weeks. Compared to placebo, ubiquinol has a significantly greater effect in regulate stress and frequent dreaming, improving initiation and maintenance of sleep and sleep quality. These findings suggest the efficacy of ubiquinol in relieving daily stress and improving sleep-related problems (Jpn Pharmacol Ther. 47(8):1231-1244 (2019)).

Enhance exercise performance
In this clinical trial, trained men aged 20 to 30 years were orally administered 200 mg ubiquinol or placebo daily for 6 weeks. Compared to placebo, ubiquinol has significantly decreased body mass index, percent body fat, systolic and diastolic blood pressures. Besides, ubiquinol group had significantly increased VO2 max compared to placebo group, with higher VO2 max indicating increased aerobic capacity and better physical fitness. These findings suggest the efficacy of ubiquinol in enhancing physical performance and improving clinical parameters in trained men.

Support fertility health

Study 1: In this clinical trial, men with unexplained fertility problem were orally administered 200 mg ubiquinol or placebo daily for 26 weeks, followed by another 12-week off-drug period. Ubiquinol supplementation significantly improved sperm concentration, motility and morphology. During the off-drug period, the semen parameters gradually returned to baseline values but the differences were still significant for sperm density (p = 0.03) and sperm motility (p = 0.03). These findings suggest the efficacy of ubiquinol in improving sperm parameters in men with unexplained fertility problem.

Study 2: In this clinical trial, 50 fertility problem patients (age 20 to 40 years) who are mostly amenorrhic (absence of menstrual periods) were orally administered 150 mg ubiquinol daily for 4 months and their reproductive hormones FSH and LH levels were determined at follicular phase. FSH concentration was increased up to three times (from 3.10 ± 2.70 to 10.09 ± 6.93) but remains within the normal limit (P < 0.05). LH values were found doubled (P < 0.05) than its normal range (from 14.83 ± 10.48 to 27.85 ± 22.30). These increased FSH and LH levels may be due to reduced oxidative stress by ubiquinol. These findings suggest that ubiquinol could have potential benefits for fertility in females.

CoQ10 is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like nutrient naturally produced by your body. It plays a key role in energy production, ntioxidant protection, and delivers nutritional support that promotes overall health.

oxidate stress age unhealthy diet cholesterol related treatment

The body’s ability to produce CoQ10 begins to decrease around the age of 30 and rapidly decline by 40. By 50, the natural CoQ10 levels may be critically low to support optimal health. Dietary supplement of CoQ10 is highly recommended as one ages.

Especially for those on prescription treatments for cholesterol concerns—these treatments can suppress an enzyme in the liver that produces both cholesterol and CoQ10. Ubiquinol CoQ10 (CardioREGAIN EX's key ingredient) is more absorbable by the cells than conventional CoQ10. If you're taking any medication, be sure to maintain a 2-hour gap between CardioREGAIN EX and your medication to ensure the efficacy remains uncompromised.

Unlike regular CoQ10, ubiquinol CoQ10 is significantly more absorbable. Ubiquinol is the reduced, active, and 'body-ready' form of CoQ10. It does not require conversion in the body, making it readily utilized for maximum benefit.

Hydroxytyrosol is a potent natural compound found in extra virgin olive oil, developed during olive ripening and integral to its health benefits.
